- Waterboarding is Torture… Period (Updated). Fascinating.
- Design Is Inevitable (Programming is Not Art) . Make sure read the comments, especially where the author clarifies “metaphor for communication” vs. “metaphor for thought”. I’d also add that metaphor is a path: we take what we know (verbs, nouns, objects, behavior, etc.) and use it to learn what we don’t (the mathematical underpinnings of programming, I guess, though I’m not entirely clear on the author’s points).
