Listening to Amory Levin‘s speechs on Social Innovation Conversations is pretty inspiring. He’s half David Suzuki and half Buckminster Fuller, plus an entertaining speaker. All the talks focus on energy efficiency; the punchline are always that saving energy saves money and that industry & ingenuity will both boost the economy and save the environment. It’s a message that avoids both the “the environment is fine, besides it’s all caused by cow farts” and “evil corporations are melting the glaciers so ohio becomes waterfront property” polemics. Best of all? He actually presents data.
Highly recommended.
